| Carrot River is located on the Canadian National Railway. It is the only Town in the Rural Municipality of Moose Range #486, creating a community of 2,400 residents. Carrot River features continuous economic growth, typical of an emerging agricultural/industry community. The restructuring of the rail line infrastructure combined with the multi-million-dollar investments in Carrot River in the 1990’s by a number of grain companies and private enterprises have positioned Carrot River for a strong and stable future into the 21st century. |
