| The Town of Norris Arm is located on the Island of Newfoundland, the easternmost province in Canada. The province of Newfoundland and Labrador is Canada's newest and is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 1999. Though a large number of the settlements on the Island are dependant upon the returns of the fishing industry, such is not the case with Norris Arm. Norris Arm is actually an insular settlement on the northeastern portion of Newfoundland surrounded by a rich boreal forest and boasting a spectacular position at the mouth of the great Exploit's River. |
