| Here at XÁ:YTEM, we share the history and culture of the people of the river, the Stó:lo. Not only do we share the knowledge of cedar, but we tell of stories written in blankets of mountain goat hair, of an ancient house older than the Egyptian pyramids, of three Chiefs who were turned to stone, and of a people who have lived here for over five hundred generations.
